I am well aware that I might not think on the same plane as, say, a normal person. But surely I cannot be the only one who experienced highly unpleasant visuals when I read the following line from this AP article on the president meeting with bank CEOs today:
The president was set to take the temperature of the bank CEOs on Friday at the White House.
Ew, ew, ew, ew, ew, ew, ew.

I wonder if they make industrial-size thermometers for taking the temperature of, say, elephants?
I’d pay to see the Prez walk out with something about the size of a Louisville Slugger and say, “Bend over, I’m gonna take your temperature.”
