If you need more proof of the coming of the apocalypse — the cast of the Jersey Shore rang the opening bell today at the NYSE. (I’m six hours behind Eastern right now, so just seeing this, sorry if it’s old news.) This video is great for three reasons:

1) The revelation that THIS is the only event that ever caused the NYSE to run out of opening-bell guest passes.

2) The militant defense of Jersey, before the bell is actually rung, as not being the actual domicile of Snooki and J-Woww.

3) This line: “We often interview the ringers of the opening bell… however, the Jersey Shore cast’s handlers are not permitting them to talk.”
