One thing you should all know about alyx and I: we love some vodka.  So it is with a heavy heart that we bring you this sorry tale.  Russia’s “president” Dmitry Medvedev cemented his status as the worst person in the world with a move to set a floor on vodka prices.

The move is part of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s plan to tackle alcoholism.

The cheapest bottle of vodka on sale will now be 89 roubles ($3;£1.80) for half a litre.

You monster.
