If you can’t take the pain any more and you don’t want to read about anything other than green shoots, Goldilocks and mustard seeds (in other words, the Larry Kudlow version of things…) check out RecessionBlocker, a site that will go over any webpage for you and block out a LONG list of negatives, including our favorite, “fail”, in all its forms. On their front page, their mission is simply stated:

I checked a few pages and it is fairly solid (lots of black on LOLFed, natch), but alas, it looks like they’ve missed a few. The above screenshot is from CNBC and still contains a sad headline, “Reports hint US recovery could be long and slow.” Block out the “slow” part and we’ve got cause for jubilation! Ain’t no recovery like a long economic recovery, ‘cuz a long economic recovery don’t stop.
