See the Inspector General of the Fed get interrogated:

“So, are you telling me that nobody at the Federal Reserve is keeping track on a regular basis of the losses that it incurs on what is now a $2 trillion portfolio?”

Maybe she’s not precisely the right person to ask, but you’d think, as the Inspector General, she’d have some inclination for keeping an eye on the matter.
