If you have ever touched money in your life, Bernie Madoff is screwing you. The list grows every day, and now includes Dress For Success, a charity that wants nothing more than to dress women up fancy so they can get jobs. One of their largest benefactors received the Madoff Special, so now women will be going to interviews in flour sacks. Way to go, Bernie. Do you know what kind of job women can get when they wear flour sacks to an interview? They can be strippers, in Iowa.
Not only that, but even Madoff investors who pulled their money out early may lose everything. Since the money these investors took out actually belonged to new investors (on account of this is how a Ponzi scheme works), there is a very real fear that the new investors may sue the old investors to recover their losses, leaving old investors with little more than a tin can to kick down the street. If Bernie has not screwed you yet, he will screw you later.

Yeah, everybody knows his ethnic background. Quite a big deal was made about his ties to various Jewish charities, and Yeshiva University in particular, as if his being Jewish himself would (or should) somehow exempt his Jewish clients from losing their money.
